Check-in Procedures
We have a no hassle do it yourself check-in procedure.
Blue Mesa Adventure Pods are located at Elk Creek Campground LOOP C (see map).
Drive directly to your site number.
At the site marker post will be your welcome kit and key to your pod.
Two paddle boards (SUPs) with carrying straps and life preservers and firewood will be at your pod.
Pod rentals come with parking for one car or truck only.
We do allow pets in select pods.
What to bring:
Sheets, Blankets or Sleeping Bag
Flashlight
Other suggestions to bring with you:
Towels, Swim Gear, Sunscreen,
Cooler for Food and Beverages
Check-in / out
Check-in time is 2:00 p.m. MST
Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. MST
Must be 21 years of age to rent Blue Mesa Adventure Pods.
*When local fire bans are in effect, firewood will not be provided.
Open Flame and Cooking are not allowed inside the pods.
We do allow pets in some of our adventure camping pods for a flat rate of $10.
Check-out: please remove all trash from the pod and surrounding area and place it in the designated NPS trash receptacles located within the campground, ensure fires are completely extinguished, leave the SUPs clean and locked beside pod, return clean PFDs and paddles to storage bin, leave outside area as you found it.
